Well, I guess this is were I write a little about myself.
I was born in 1992, & raised in the suburbs of Dublin city. At the age of 15 I moved from my Irish home to my new home in the exotic, and remote, island of Gran Canaria were I have been living until today!
I am currently attending the American School of Las Palmas, and have recently found a new hobby, which is to get gameplay off of the XBOX and PS3 and our 'community' of 'editors' edit these videos we call montages. Through this new fangled hobby of mine I have discovered a huge range of programs, techniques, and styles, in terms of both video and photo editing.
I have also made a number of websites, most being small and personal, except for one… OsxTorrents.org was my first "big" site, which, at the time of its demise had over 6k registered users. The experience was like being thrown into the deep end of a pool with no knowledge of swimming... but thankfully I enjoyed every minute I spent working on the site and the feedback from my users really pushed me on! creating new logos, themes, and features on the site every few weeks, i was always busy, and without a doubt, always learning. But all good things must come to an end right? and in april of 2009 the domain name OsxTorrents.org was shutdown by me due to the cost's of hosting OsxTorrents.
But rising like a phoenix from the ashes, my Youtube channel (
[link] ) starting receiving a fair amount of attention thanks to those gaming montages you read about! With over 3k subscribers to date (3-Feb-11), and a very supportive fan base, my hobby has flourished even more, pushing me to look into actually studying some sort of visual design, so in late 2010 I started looking into a place called the Vancouver Film school, I applied in early 2011 and to my surprise, I was accepted!. its a dream school for most, that came true for me.
